Changing times call for re-evaluating the publication schedule of a Pulaski County long-standing newspaper.
The Daily Record, based in Little Rock, has gone from publishing twice a week to once a week, now publishing only on Tuesdays.
Focusing on business and law news, the newspaper previously had new editions every Monday and Friday.
In 2005, The Daily Record hired its first reporter after being in business since 1925. At the time, new issues were published four times a week.
Landata Inc. of Arkansas, now defunct, bought The Daily Record in 1997 and founding publisher Bill Rector reacquired the newspaper in 2002.
Managing Partner Don Bona was unavailable for comment about the shift in production to Whispers before deadline.
