Alan Bubbus tells your Whispers staff that he’s planning to start site work soon on his David’s Burgers at 17279 Interstate 30 South in Benton, though it will be next summer before it’s open.
The Benton store would bring the David’s Burgers chain to 11 stores, but Bubbus, the chain’s owner, said he’s evaluating the Maumelle David’s, at 102 Country Club Parkway, for “long-term viability.”
Meanwhile, in Conway, Bubbus, who also stays busy as a real estate developer, says he’s constructing a three-tenant, 6,400-SF building at 1190 S. Amity Road, near the Sam’s Club, one of whose tenants will be Nothing Bundt Cakes, which currently has locations in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Hot Springs and Jonesboro.
Nothing Bundt Cakes, with 600 locations across the United States, was founded in 1997 in Las Vegas and touts itself as the No. 1 specialty cake company in the nation.
