Dwight Ford Named Chief Lending Officer at First Community Bank

Dwight Ford has been promoted to executive vice president, chief lending officer at First Community Bank of Batesville. 

Ford joined First Community in 2007 and was previously its chief credit officer. In his new role, he’ll be responsible for directing the bank’s overall loan portfolio.

Ford has 27 years of experience in the industry.

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to help shape the future of such a rapidly growing, community-oriented bank,” he said in a news release. “We are on an exciting growth trajectory, and I look forward to strengthening our business relationships by collaborating with our team, our partners and our customers on business opportunities.”

Ford holds a bachelor’s in finance with an emphasis in banking from Arkansas State University. He earned his master’s in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. 

Ford is a member of the Batesville School District school board and Batesville Rotary Club.
