Construction
Kathy Robinson has been promoted to chief financial officer for East-Harding Construction of Little Rock. She was formerly controller and has worked for East-Harding for more than 10 years. East-Harding has also promoted three LEED green associates: Zane Garrett to project manager and Cory Bennett and Mason McBroom to site superintendents.
Architecture
Mark Owings of Rogers has been promoted to senior vice president of architecture at Crafton Tull, the six-office architecture and engineering firm based in Rogers. Owings, who had been an architect for the company, succeeds David Swearingen, who will continue working part time in an arrangement the firm called “semi-retirement.”
Financial Services
Lisa Guerra has been hired as a senior private banker in the Arvest Bank branch at 4400 W. Markham St. in Little Rock. Guerra was previously vice president of public funds at Bank of the Ozarks for nine years and vice president of premier banking at Bank of America for 10 years.
Health Care
Dr. James Carver Walker has begun seeing patients at CHI St. Vincent General & Colorectal Surgery Clinic in Little Rock. Walker earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Asso-ciation.
Brad Brannon has been hired as chief financial officer of Pediatrics Plus of Conway. Brannon, who has an accounting degree from Ouachita Baptist University at Arkadelphia and an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, previously worked at Alltel Wireless, Windstream Communications and more recently at Inuvo Inc.
Law
Justice J. Brooks and Daniel D. Ford have joined Quattlebaum Grooms Tull & Burrow in Little Rock as associates in litigation practice. Both are 2014 graduates of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Bowen School of Law.
Daniel L. Heard, Gordon M. Wilbourn, H. Watt Gregory III and Jess L. Askew III of the Kutak Rock law firm have been designated as Lawyer of the Year in the Little Rock area in their respective areas of expertise by Best Lawyers in America. Heard was recognized in securities regulation, Wilbourn in municipal law, Gregory in mergers and acquisitions and Askey in First Amendment law. Nine other Kutak Rock attorneys in Arkansas were listed in Best Lawyers: Brian G. Looney and Debby Thetford Nye in the Fayetteville office and Glenn E. Borkowski, Randal B. Frazier, James M. Gary, Jim Hathaway, Edward T. Oglesby, David A. Smith and Teresa M. Wineland in the Little Rock office.
