Downtown Little Rock Partnership is hosting a new event, the East Village Street Food Jam, from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday on the lawn of the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock.
Twenty food trucks have been invited, and there will be live music at the event, which is sponsored by Riceland. The food trucks will use electrical outlets instead of generators so that the music can be heard by all. There will also be a family-style picnic seating area, a beer garden and the Westrock Orthodontics Kids’ Zone, featuring bounce houses and other kid-friendly activities.
Food trucks will include, among others, Beaver Tails, Bryant’s BBQ & Catering, Count Porkula, Ghetto Tacos, Kyleigh’s Lemonade Stand, Loblolly Creamery, Say Cheese Handcrafted Sandwiches, Slader’s Alaskan Dumpling Co. and Wok-n-roll.
Live music, from the Rebel Kettle Stage, will begin at 3 and run through 9 p.m. It will include sets from The Salty Dogs, The Going Jessies and Rodney Block/Black Superman.
Tickets are $5, and the event is free for children ages 5 and under. Tickets can be purchase here or at the event.
