Ensono CEO Jeff VonDeylen
Information technology services company Ensono of Chicago, an Acxiom Corp. spinoff that has about 25 percent of its workforce stationed in Conway, announced Tuesday its acquisition of Attenda, a managed services and cloud services company based in the United Kingdom.
Attenda specializes in running business-critical applications, according to a news release. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Ensono said the deal extends its ability to support clients’ global operations and strengthens its public cloud, dedicated infrastructure and mainframe offerings.
Ensono is owned by private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners and M/C Partners of Boston and New York City, which acquired the firm in 2015.
The acquisition of Attenda will “accelerate Ensono’s strategy to enable its clients to operate seamlessly across multiple environments,” Ensono CEO Jeff VonDeylen said in a news release. “Ensono and Attenda provide complementary service offerings, but also share a similar ‘client-first’ management philosophy and commitment to investing in the ongoing success of our employees.”
VonDeylen will lead the combined company. Mark Fowle, co-founder and CEO of Attenda, will join Ensono’s board of directors.
A company spokeswoman told Arkansas Business that Attenda’s annual revenue is about $78.6 million and has nearly 300 employees.
Ensono was known as Acxiom IT until early this year, when it rebranded. The company is planning to move from the Acxiom campus in Conway to another location in the city by next year.
