First Orion Milestone: One Billion Branded Calls in 2023

First Orion Corp. of North Little Rock has made more than a billion branded calls so far in 2023.

The firm works with businesses to reach customers via phone by creating branded calling solutions that display a company’s name and the purpose for the call. Studies have shown that consumers prefer calls about important information, like credit card fraud or insurance claims, but most Americans do not answer their phones when they do not recognize the number.

First Orion’s branded calling technologies bridge this gap.

“The swift adoption of branded calling by businesses across all industries seeking to enhance their bottom line through enriched customer service and employee experiences has resulted in a 3X growth in First Orion’s customer base over the past 12 months,” the company said in a news release.

First Orion said surveys indicate that 90% of consumers don’t feel comfortable answering unidentified calls. Its INFORM solution has increased “first call conversations” by 76% for some call centers. One property insurance provider experienced a 68% increase in call duration, First Orion said.

The INFORM solution reaches subscribers on all major U.S. mobile phone providers, First Orion said. It also provides businesses with analytics, like call duration and program comparisons.
