The Pleasant Valley home of Hunter Stuart is the subject of a litigation filed by One Bank & Trust of Little Rock, where he was a vice president and his father is the majority owner.
$900,000.
That was the price paid for a west Little Rock house formerly owned by Hunter Stuart. New owners: Greg and Shannon Ardoin.
You might recall that Stuart forfeited the Pleasant Valley residence to One Bank & Trust in August.
On paper, the property was tied to a $360,000 mortgage held by One Bank. However, in a 44-page forfeiture action, the U.S. government alleged that fraudulently obtained bank funds in excess of $1 million were used to buy the property and build the 5,328-SF house.
Those claims were made against Stuart’s late father, Layton “Scooter” Stuart, who owned One Bank and was its chairman and CEO until forced out by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in September 2012.
