Martin Tewari
Former USA Truck executive Martin Tewari is now executive vice president of Groendyke Transport of Enid, Oklahoma.
Tewari joined USA Truck in September 2015 as president of trucking, a newly created position. He resigned March 13 to take a position at Groendyke.
In an email, Tewari said he was doing a “little [bit] of everything” at Groendyke. Tewari’s position at USA Truck has not been filled but could be soon, said CEO James Reed.
Reed didn’t give details about the company’s search for a new chief technology officer and a president of the trucking division. He said USA Truck would have announcements in the coming weeks about the new hires.
Reed did say USA Truck has hired, a new director of its human resources department. Cheryl Stone replaces Kandice Harshaw, the company’s vice president of human resources since August 2014; USA Truck did not announce Harshaw’s departure.
Harshaw joined the city of Fort Smith as benefits administrator earlier this month. Harshaw had worked for USA Truck since 1992 and was director of human resources for five years before replacing Burton Weis, who is now director of driver personnel at J.B. Hunt Transport Services of Lowell.
