Friday Eldredge & Clark Makes Moves; UA Announces Awards (NWA Movers & Shakers)

Kael K. Bowling, Katelyn M. Eaves and Allison C. Pearson have been hired as attorneys at Friday Eldredge & Clark LLP of Little Rock.

Bowling works in the firm’s Fayetteville office as a part of its Commercial Litigation & Regulation Practice Group. He previously worked for Wal-Mart and Tyson Food and for U.S. District Judge Timothy Brooks of Fayetteville.

Eaves practices in the firm’s Rogers office as a part of its Trust & Estate Planning Practice Group and was previously an attorney at Keith Miller Butler Schneider & Pawlik PLLC in Rogers.

Pearson practices in the firm’s Little Rock office as part of its Labor & Employment Practice Group and was previously an attorney at Semmes Bowen & Semmes in Baltimore.


Robin Bowen, Anna Egalite, Yvonne Johnson and Reed Greenwood have received awards from the College of Education & Health Professions at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Bowen, president of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, received the Outstanding Alumnus in Health & Human Services Award.

Egalite, an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy & Human Development at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, received the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award.

Johnson, the dean of the Humanities & Social Sciences Division at St. Louis Community College, received the Outstanding Alumnus in Education Award.

Greenwood, who was the dean of the College of Education & Health Professions for eight years during his 35-year career at the University of Arkansas, received the Award for Distinguished Contribution.


John Paul Pendergrass and Courtney Meyers have been named 2017 distinguished alumni of the UA’s Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food & Life Sciences.

Pendergrass is the Outstanding Alumnus for the year and is co-owner of Pendergrass Cattle Co. in Charleston.

Meyers is the Outstanding Young Alumna and is an associate professor of agricultural communications at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.


Jeff Pracht has been hired as IT business development manager at Mainstream Technologies in Little Rock and will focus his work on the northwest Arkansas market. He previously was a senior account executive at Windstream in Little Rock.
