Frontier Airlines on Tuesday announced that it will resume service to Little Rock as a part of a nationwide expansion in 21 cities.
Beginning in April, the airline that operated in Little Rock until 2014 will provide nonstop service between Little Rock and Denver.
United Airlines currently offers nonstop service from Little Rock to Denver.
Frontier’s flight schedule and the start of ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
This news comes as the airport’s traffic is up 3 percent from summer travel, according to a news release.
