Gauger, Lee Advance at Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield (Movers & Shakers)

Tim Gauger has been promoted to senior vice president and chief legal officer for Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield in Little Rock, and Sherri Lee has been named manager of clinical services and population health for BlueAdvantage national accounts.

Gauger succeeded Lee Douglass, who retired after 18 years with ABCBS. Gauger joined ABCBS in 2015 as senior counsel for regulatory matters. He had served as chief counsel for the Arkansas governor’s office, under Gov. Mike Beebe.

Lee joined the carrier in July 2012 after working as a registered nurse and home health case manager.


Melissa Bandy and Craig Cockrell have been named members of the Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard law firm.

Bandy, who works in the Little Rock office, advises clients in commercial transactions and has represented restaurants, retailers and hotels in securing liquor permits. Bandy is a graduate of the Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Cockrell works in the Rogers office, focusing on tax and transactional advice to businesses, municipalities, state agencies and individuals. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville and earned a master’s in taxation from the University of Florida School of Law.
