Susan White
George’s Inc., a private poultry processing company in Springdale, hired Susan White as its CFO.
White worked for Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale since 1986 in a variety of finance and accounting positions, including vice president and treasurer, senior group controller and director of business analysis.
“Carl and I are extremely pleased that Susan has joined the George’s team,” said co-CEO and President Charles George, referring to his twin brother and co-CEO. “Her leadership skills, character and experience in the poultry and food industry will significantly contribute to the high performance of our company and execution of our strategic growth plan.”
In her new position, White will be responsible for the company’s finance and accounting operations. George’s, the state’s 10th largest private company, had about $950 million in sales and 4,700 employees in 2014, according to Arkansas Business’ most recent list.
“I am honored to have the trust and confidence of the George’s leadership team,” White said in a statement. “This is an exciting time to join the George’s organization. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the finance team as we contribute to the company’s growth and success.”
