Two corporately owned Gigi’s Cupcakes stores are in the works for Little Rock and should open in October or November.
The stores, approximately 1,400 SF each, will be located in the Chenal Creek Shopping Center near Cold Stone Creamery and in the Park Avenue shopping center on University Avenue.
The cupcakes will be baked at the Chenal site and sold from both locations, according to Kevin Bauerle, managing partner at Gigi’s.
Gigi’s stores rotate daily through 13 to 18 cupcake flavors that include chocolate chip cookie dough, pistachio, strawberry margarita and wedding cake.
Gigi’s is a 4-year-old national company that is headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., and has 67 franchised locations across the U.S.
Company CEO and founder Gigi Butler owns Gigi’s stores in Nashville, Franklin, Tenn., and Tuscaloosa, Ala., and will also own the Little Rock locations, which are the company’s first in Arkansas.
