Henderson State Hires Brad Patterson as VP (Movers & Shakers)

Brad Patterson has been hired as vice president of student affairs and student success for Henderson State University in Arkadelphia.

Patterson earned his doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he worked as vice president for student affairs from 2014-2017. He currently works for ACT, consulting with colleges and universities and using data to increase student yield and improve retention.


Omar Atiq of Little Rock has been named chair-elect of the board of governors of the American College of Physicians. Atiq is a professor of medicine and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and was recently the governor of the ACP’s Arkansas chapter.
