Hideaway Pizza Coming to North Little Rock

2 min read

North Little Rock will soon be home to the first Hideaway Pizza outside of Oklahoma, Hideaway 2 Inc. announced Friday.

“We have been successful for 59 years here in Oklahoma, and we think Arkansas is a good fit for us,” co-owner Darren Lister said in a news release.  “Little Rock is a great town, it’s a great community with great people and we think they are going to love our pizza there.”

The restaurant will be located at 5103 Warden Road with plans to open during the first week of October.

“All of us here at Hideaway Pizza are excited to take on the challenge of moving our concept into other markets,” co-owner Brett Murphy said. “All stores are and will continue to be company-owned stores. It will be a controlled growth, as we begin building our following outside of our historical support base in Oklahoma.”

The North Little Rock location will be Hideaway 2 Inc.’s 17th full service dine-in restaurant with a similar floor plan to the one they recently opened in Moore, Okla.: a 6,700-SF restaurant seating 186 with a full bar and multiple large screen TVs above the bar area for sports events.

According to a news release, the brand is known for its unique interior art collages, and there will be an entire wall of large custom-made collages of Arkansas’ “fabled natural beauty” and Arkansas Razorback images featured in the dining areas.

“We will be carrying 20 beers on tap, many of them locally brewed in Arkansas and Oklahoma,” Murphy said.

The restaurant also plans to host a local beer tasting as a charity event to kick off the grand opening. He said the company will continue to develop other locations in Arkansas and Oklahoma while they continue looking at other states for future growth.

Another location in Conway is in the works to open in spring 2017, when the company will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the original location in Stillwater, Okla.
