Gary Troutman
The Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Hot Springs Metro Partnership on Wednesday announced the hiring of Gary Troutman as the new president and CEO of both organizations, effective Sept. 18.
Troutman, a Hot Springs native, has served as vice president of First Security Bank since 2015. He began his career at Farmers Insurance, then moved to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and was later hired as general manger of The Sentinel-Record.
Troutman has served on the boards of the Arkansas Press Association, Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club, Fifty for the Future, The Oaklawn Foundation, Hot Springs Future Fund and National Park College Foundation.
“While we have many opportunities ahead of us, we also have many challenges, but we will tackle them with a group effort and a joining of forces because at the end of the day, all any of us want to do is see our community thrive and prosper,” Troutman said.
