Kevin Sexton
The Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association announced Thursday the hiring of Kevin Sexton as its director of tourism and community affairs, effective Jan. 8.
Previously, Sexton was a senior regional manager and director of the Community Development Division for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
He worked for the AEDC for more than a decade. Before that, Sexton served as a group travel consultant with the Arkansas Department of Parks & Tourism.
A Bryant native, he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a degree in business administration. Sexton is a certified professional community and economic developer. He was certified though the Community Development Institute at the University of Central Arkansas.
Sexton is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute and completed his basic economic development training at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
An avid golfer, he has been a property owner in Hot Springs Village for many years.
