Hugg & Hall Mobile Storage Acquires Rentway Storage

1 min read

Hugg & Hall Mobile Storage on Friday announced the acquisition of Rentway Storage Inc. of North Little Rock.

The deal combines two mobile storage container companies into one that services the construction, industrial and retail markets.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed in a news release.

Jim Hugg, the CEO of Hugg & Hall, said the two companies have been in “friendly competition” for decades. Rentway was founded in 1992. Hugg & Hall launched in 1995.

“But we think this joining of forces will give our combined customers the benefit of more inventory, more cost efficiency, more flexibility and a greater level of care,” he said in the release.

Hugg & Hall serves a seven-state region with a fleet of 4,000 portable rental storage containers and office units. It generates more than $12 million in revenue annually.

Hugg & Hall started the storm shelter company Stormbox in 2014. Stormbox uses shipping containers to build above-ground shelters.
