Industrial Space Vacancy Rate Falls in Central Arkansas

1 min read

The central Arkansas industrial real estate market saw the total vacancy rate decline to 9.6 percent in the first quarter of 2017, compared with 11.1 percent in first-quarter 2016.

“The central Arkansas industrial market continued to experience positive absorption momentum through Q1 with over 281,000 SF of space being absorbed,” said Drew Holbert of Colliers International. “This resulted in our vacancy rate dropping below the 10 percent threshold for the first time in over a decade.”

“At 9.6 percent vacancy and stable market demand, we expect the vacancy rate to continue its slow decline .”
