Arkansas Heart Hospital
Jacob Robinson has been hired as chief administrative officer of Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. An Arkansas native, Robinson has three years of experience in health care administration and was hired after a weeks-long search.
Robinson graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway with a bachelor’s in health science and health services administration in 2013. He then received his master’s in health administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he also worked as an anesthesiology administrative intern. He is also a graduate of the Conway Area Leadership Institute.
Robinson was a summer resident at Little Rock Pediatric Clinic in 2014, where he then worked as an administrative assistant until 2015. He then spent two years at Baptist Health in Little Rock, first as an administrative fellow, then as a senior fellow and assistant administrator.
In 2017, Robinson was promoted to assistant vice president and assistant administrator at Baptist Health, a position he held until he accepted his new position at Arkansas Heart Hospital.
Dr. Abdel Al Emam has joined CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute in Little Rock and Heber Springs as an interventional cardiologist.
Al Emam, who is board-certified in internal medicine, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, completed interventional cardiology and general cardiology fellowships at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch and Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center.
Dr. Anthony Manning has joined the medical staff of Conway Regional Health System.
A general surgeon, Manning completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences In Little Rock. He completed a five-year surgical residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas.
Manning will practice at Surgical Associates of Conway.
