Attorney General Tim Griffin has named Jeff LeMaster his communications director

LeMaster, a former editor at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, has more than 20 years of experience in communications. Most recently, he was chief of communications for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism.

Before then, he spent more than three years working in various leadership roles at the Arkansas Department of Energy and five years as communications director for the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute.

“Jeff brings a wealth of experience in media and government to this role,” Griffin said in a news release. “He will be a trusted member of my senior team, and I am confident in his ability to lead our communications efforts.”

LeMaster is a native of Little Rock and holds a bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in business leadership, both from John Brown University.
