State Sen. Jeremy Hutchinson and Alex Gray have joined the Little Rock law firm of Steel Wright & Collier PLLC as partners, the firm announced Tuesday.
Hutchinson, a Republican representing District 33 (central and midtown Little Rock), joins SWC from Hutchinson Law Firm. He previously served as a part-time deputy prosecutor in Saline County and adjunct professor of employment law and economics at John Brown University and Harding University.
Gray joins the firm from Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard PLLC, where he focused on business and commercial disputes.
Other SWC attorneys include Winston Collier, Scott Poynter, former state Rep. Nate Steel and state Rep. Marshall Wright of Forrest City, a Democrat who represents District 49 in east Arkansas.
“Steel Wright & Collier is excited to add Alex Gray and Jeremy Hutchinson to the team,” said Steel, the firm’s co-founder. “Sen. Hutchinson is a skilled attorney in a variety of areas, and Mr. Gray brings extensive experience in business and real estate litigation from one of the state’s largest business law firms.”
Gray received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the UALR Law Review.
Hutchinson received his bachelor’s degree from Harding and his law degree from UALR, where he served as a member of the moot court team.
