A 60,000-SF shopping center in Jonesboro has a new owner and will have a new name: The Highlands.
G&P Developments Inc., led by Jian Pan, Lan Guo and Huie Yang, paid $5.5 million for the Highland Center at 2810 E. Highland Drive. The seller was Robert Wood Inc., run by the family of the late developer Robert Wood.
Pan is the owner of Fuji Japanese Steakhouse, which is located at the center. There is also a barbecue restaurant, a salon and various other retail shops on the 5.5-acre property.
T.J. Lefler of Sage Partners represented the seller. Josh Brown represented the buyer.
BancorpSouth Bank of Tupelo, Mississippi, financed the purchase with a $4.5 million loan.
