A dispute over a bill of nearly $30,000 from the “gentlemen’s club” Visions on the northern outskirts of Maumelle has made its way to Pulaski County Circuit Court.
Visions said that Michael Griffin, an operating manager at Arkansas Line Marking LLC of Little Rock, rang up a $28,421 bill in about two weeks, starting last Dec. 20.
Arkansas Line Marking offers asphalt, parking lots, and sport courts marking and striping, according to its profile on the Better Business Bureau website.
In 33 transactions, Griffin allegedly bought “beverage and entertainment” using Arkansas Line’s American Express card, according to the lawsuit.
According to the complaint, Visions was told in February that Griffin and ALM disputed the charges as unauthorized.
AmEx then withdrew the disputed funds from Vision’s account. Vision’s said it asked Griffin and ALM to pay the tab without success.
We reached Griffin last week, and he acknowledged going to Vision’s but said he only charged maybe a couple hundred bucks.
“They just took my credit card and charged it up,” he said.
The attorney for Visions, Stephen Morley of North Little Rock, didn’t return a call for comment.
