Julie Bates
Julie Bates has been promoted to executive vice president for the Arkansas State University System.
Previously, Bates was vice president for finance, a position she held since 2011.
“Julie’s new title better reflects her leadership role in the system,” Charles L. Welch, president of the ASU System, said in a news release. “She has been an invaluable addition to the system team not only in finance, but in many other areas of growth of our campuses.”
The move is effective Jan. 1.
