June Groundbreaking Planned for Creekside Retail in Rogers

1 min read

A late June groundbreaking is scheduled for Creekside Retail, a shopping plaza in Rogers.

Developer Jason Pullman of Bentonville said the project at 2012 S. Promenade Blvd. received clearance in early May from city officials after engineering work was done by Tom Oppenheim of CEI Engineering Inc.

The 15,500-SF center is going on a 2.2-acre site that stands out as empty in a highly developed area.

“It has been raw earth for a while,” said Lori Ericson, the assistant city planner for Rogers.

Pullman said he tried to acquire the property for seven years before buying it for a little more than $2 million last month. Nielsen Architecture LLC of Rogers will design the retail center.

Pullman is in talks with prospective tenants about the space, and hopes to have Creekside Retail ready by November.

C.R. Crawford LLC of Fayetteville is the general contractor.
