Karen Konarski-Hart of Little Rock has been elected vice president of the American Chiropractic Association, the first woman and first Arkansan to hold that position. The American Chiropractic Association is the largest professional association in the world representing doctors of chiropractic.
The ACA provides lobbying, public relations, professional and educational opportunities for doctors of chiropractic, funds research regarding chiropractic and health issues and offers leadership for the advancement of the profession.
Konarski-Hart practices at the Konarski Chiropractic Clinic & Back Institute of Arkansas in Little Rock, which was founded in 1980. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and her doctor of chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois.
Konarski-Hart has earned a diplomate in chiropractic orthopedics from the Parker College of Chiropractic and is a licensed emergency medical technician. She also is a past president of the Arkansas State Board of Health.
Tony Moore, principle broker with Moore & Co. Realtors in Russellville, has been appointed to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission by Gov. Asa Hutchinson.
