Kinco Constructors of Little Rock has launched a new partnership company, Mulhearn Constructors.
Mulhearn will be a commercial construction company, specializing in retail construction. Seth Mulhearn, the former president and owner of Mulhearn Wilson Constructors of North Little Rock, will serve as president of the new company.
Mulhearn has more than 25 years of experience managing and estimating a diverse range of projects, including multiple locations for 7-11, Valero, Five Guys, Starbucks, Suite 443 and Circle K.
“Seth knows what it takes to run a company, and he has significant experience in retail, grocery stores, strip malls, restaurants, convenience stores and private office construction,” Clay Gordon, president of Kinco, said in a press release. “We look forward to him serving clients and growing us in those market sectors.”
A spokesperson for Kinco told Arkansas Business that the new partnership aims to increase Kinco’s presence in the retail construction business, and that the partnership with Mulhearn was the right opportunity to move into the space.
Kinco serves clients throughout Arkansas and surrounding states as a general contractor and construction manager. The company specializes in commercial construction of all market types from K-12, health care, higher education, office, industrial, athletic and more.
Doug Wasson, CEO of Kinco, said in the press release that the partnership “is a good fit for all of us.”
And Mulhearn said in the release that Kinco’s legacy, infrastructure and shared values helped him make this decision to move forward.
“Kinco has like-minded people,” Mulhearn said in the press release. “It also provides an infrastructure and a lot of resources and support that I can benefit from immediately. My reputation is everything to me, and I give everything I have to my work. I want to make sure I’m doing a good job for clients, that I’m producing a quality project within budget, on time. I look forward to this venture and the opportunity it brings.”
