1 min read

Lannie Byrd, chief operating officer of MHP/Team SI, has joined the Little Rock marketing firm’s four partners as a new shareholder as the firm celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Byrd is now a partner to firm President Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl, creative director Chip Culpepper, advertising veteran David Rainwater and Team SI founder Tim Whitley at the agency, based in the Riverdale neighborhood. The firm also has offices in Rogers.

Vogelpohl called Byrd, a tech veteran and former senior director of marketing for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, “a proven leader” and a “constant innovator.” The firm is calling its 50th anniversary an “innoversary.”

“I couldn’t think of a better way to commemorate our history than to announce a new shareholder and celebrate the next generation of agency leadership,” Vogelpohl said in a company statement.

Byrd, a Ouachita Baptist University graduate who once taught there, has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Memphis. One previous job was online content manager for the Commercial Appeal, Memphis’ daily newspaper.

“MHP/Team SI has a 50-year legacy of innovation, and I’m proud to have played a role in the [integrated digital and traditional marketing] philosophy that drives results for our clients,” Byrd said in the release.
