Laurie Ann Ross has been named vice chancellor of advancement at the University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock. She also will serve as executive director of the UA-Pulaski Tech Foundation. In these roles, Ross will oversee all fundraising, private gift administration and special event management for the college. She will also provide administrative management of the Center for Humanities & Arts Theater and the Windgate Art Gallery. “Laurie Ann Ross is a veteran fundraising professional with deep ties to our community,” UA-Pulaski Tech Chancellor Summer DeProw said in a press release announcing Ross’ promotion. “Her expertise and experience will further enhance UA-Pulaski Tech’s ability to ensure student success and prepare graduates for the workforce.”
Ross most recently served as executive director of the Centers for Youth & Families of Little Rock. Before then, she worked as the director of development for general university at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she secured $2 million for campus improvements. Ross spent more than a decade working within the University of Arkansas System. During this time, she managed a donor portfolio of more than 100 individuals for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Medical Center while serving as senior director of development. At the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, she refined philanthropic strategies, directed donor cultivation and coordinated grant opportunities.
Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and master’s degree in applied communication studies, both from UA Little Rock.
