Lofty Labs Continues to Expand After Amazon Certification

1 min read

Lofty Labs of Fayetteville has nearly doubled its staff this year and is close to reaching $1 million in annual revenue, Casey Kinsey, company president and founder, said last week.

The web development consultancy’s revenue for 2016 was about $500,000.

Lofty Labs also became a certified consultant for Amazon Web Services last month. AWS, Amazon’s cloud platform, offers outside server and data center infrastructure. The firm is planning to host events to introduce AWS to northwest Arkansas companies but has not scheduled any yet.

The goal is to create efficiencies and value for clients using technology, and growing demand led it to add three software engineers, a client services manager and a marketing director, Kinsey said.

The company has eight employees, but is seeking a software engineer to fill a ninth post. It has worked with clients including PBS, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Little Bird Systems of Fayetteville and CBRE Group Inc. of Los Angeles, a Fortune 500 commercial real estate services company.
