Sissy’s Log Cabin, the Arkansas jewelry store chain heading into its 50th anniversary celebration, has a new advertising agency of record, switching from Stone Ward to another Little Rock firm, Mangan Holcomb Partners/Team SI.
Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl, MHP’s president, confirmed to Whispers last week that her firm had landed the account in August.
Stone Ward had taken over the account in August 2016 from Albright Ideas. At the time, Stone Ward President Millie Ward called Sissy’s “a true Arkansas success story.” It has stores in Pine Bluff, Little Rock, Jonesboro and Memphis.
Founded by Sissy Jones as a small antique shop in Pine Bluff in 1970, Sissy’s Log Cabin is a frequent advertiser on television and elsewhere, with a marketing budget whispered to approach $1 million a year.
Vogelpohl wouldn’t confirm that number. “We aren’t at liberty to share client budgets,” she said, but she said MHP has marketing plans for 2020’s golden anniversary. “We’re so proud to be associated with such a wonderful family and brand,” she said.
