Kristen Nicholson
Kristen Nicholson has been promoted to vice president of public relations at Mangan Holcomb Partners/Team SI in Little Rock, where she has maintained strategic relationships and worked closely with clients on award-winning PR endeavors for the past eight years.
In the new job, she will keep duties she had as director of PR, overseeing the agency’s efforts and strategic counsel for clients.
“It has been truly incredible to watch Kristen grow at the agency,” agency principal and President Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl said in a statement. “Throughout the years, she has evolved into both a dynamic leader and counselor. We are very lucky to have her and are excited to see how she will succeed in this role.”
Under her direction, the firm received a 2019 National Award of Excellence in the category of Marketing in Consumer Services-Technology for its work with Kinetic by Windstream on Building Kinetic Communities at the 2019 Public Relations Society of America’s Silver Anvil Awards at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. The agency also won 32 of 41 categories at the local 2019 ARCom awards hosted by Little Rock PRSA, a competition that recognizes the best in public relations in Arkansas.
“I’m grateful to work for an agency with leadership who has supported me both personally and professionally,” Nicholson told Arkansas Business. “We have a national award-winning PR team and the best marketing minds around: 126 to be exact. The company has grown by leaps and bounds in the eight years that I’ve been here. I’m excited to be a part of the executive leadership team and look forward to seeing the agency’s continued growth.”
Nicholson has a degree in journalism and political science from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, and holds a board position with Junior Achievement of Central Arkansas. She also holds the Accreditation in Public Relations credential from the Public Relations Society of America.
