Dr. Steven Meadors, a vascular surgeon, has joined the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute and is seeing patients at the CHI St. Vincent Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic in Little Rock.
Meadors attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he also completed his fellowship training in vascular surgery.

Dr. Faheemullah Beg, a cardiologist, has joined the Baptist Health Heart Institute/Arkansas Cardiology Clinic-Conway.
Beg earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University in Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

Dr. Sam Makhoul has joined CARTI as a medical oncologist in Little Rock and as medical director of clinical research.
Makhoul previously treated patients at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he also served as a professor of medicine, director of the Division of Medical Oncology in the Division of Internal Medicine and as director of the hematology/oncology fellowship program.
He was the inaugural recipient of the Laura F. Hutchins, M.D., Endowed Chair for Hematology & Oncology. He earned his medical degree from Tishreen University Faculty of Medicine in Lattakia, Syria, and received additional training from Pennsylvania State University.

Ben Foster has joined Cigna as a Medicare broker sales manager.
He previously worked for Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield and BXS Insurance Inc. of Little Rock.
