Urgent care chain MedExpress of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, is continuing to add sites in central Arkansas, opening stores in Cabot, North Little Rock and Little Rock.
The company opened its Cabot site on Dec. 22. It will open stores on John F. Kennedy Boulevard in North Little Rock on Jan. 13, Chenal Parkway in Little Rock on Jan. 15 and Markham Street in Little Rock on Jan. 20.
“With most patients in and out in less than an hour, our urgent care services can help local patients and employees when there’s a timely illness or injury, and our basic wellness services can help patients to easily manage their health,” said Alex Gravelle, MedExpress’s Arkansas area manager.
MedExpress’ centers are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week with no appointment necessary. In addition to offering urgent care, it also provides other services, including help to quit smoking and sports physicals.
Last year, the company opened centers in Fort Smith, Rogers, Benton, Russellville and Hot Springs. It’s also planning to open a center in Pine Bluff. Another company, HealthCare Express Management Ltd. of Texarkana, Texas, has opened centers in Little Rock, Maumelle and Texarkana, Arkansas.
