Metropolitan Bank Forecloses on 2 Osborne Homes

1 min read

Metropolitan National Bank of Little Rock filed a foreclosure lawsuit seeking to recover $170,804 from Marie Osborne and Allison Osborne-Wingfield, the wife and daughter of the late Jennings Osborne.

The debt is secured by two west Little Rock homes owned by the Osbornes: a 4,529-SF house at 43 Talais Drive and a 5,174-SF house at 5 Robinwood Drive.

The Little Rock lender claims the Osbornes defaulted on a loan with an outstanding balance of $166,659. The Metropolitan loan originally totaled $181,198 when it was made in August 2010.

The debt represents a second mortgage on the homes.

The Talais residence in the Lamarche Place neighborhood of Chenal Valley was bought by Allison Osborne for $510,000 in May 2004. The half-acre property secures a first mortgage of $377,200 held by Little Rock’s Bank of the Ozarks.

According to county records, the 5,174-SF home was acquired in January 1993 for $234,000. The 2-acre property secures a first mortgage of $263,000 held by Cenlar Federal Savings Bank of Ewing, N.J.
