Michael Hocutt Selected To Head General Contractors Association (Movers & Shakers)

Construction

Michael Hocutt, president of Clark Power Corp. of Little Rock, has been chosen to lead the Associated General Contractors of Arkansas as 2015 president. Hocutt represents the utility division and has 37 years of industry experience. Other executive committee members include William Fletcher, COO of Kinco Constructors, vice president and treasurer; and Thomas Dickinson with McGeorge Contracting Co., secretary.

Nick Copas has been promoted to vice president of industrial services with Baldwin & Shell Construction Co. in Little Rock. Copas has been with the company since 2003 and most recently served as project manager.

Education

Tammie Hall has been elected president of the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association. Hall, a 1993 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, currently serves as the senior regional supplier diversity manager at Lend Lease in Durham, North Carolina. She has been a member of the National Alumni Board for four years.

Financial Services

Jackie Jones has joined Arvest Bank in Little Rock as treasury management adviser. She previously was vice president of treasury services sales with Centennial Bank and has 25 years of experience in the banking industry.

Health Care

Phillip Jacuzzi has been named sales and service manager of 101 Mobility of Little Rock, which sells and installs mobility and accessibility products and equipment. Jacuzzi, former sales and service manager for Central State Bus Sales and Arrow Coach Lines, has 15 years of experience in the bus transportation industry.

Legal

Jason B. Hendren and Erika Gee have joined Wright Lindsey & Jennings LLP. Hendren will be a member of the medical malpractice group at the firm’s Rogers office. He was formerly a partner at Friday Eldredge & Clark LLP and has almost 20 years of experience. Gee, who joined the firm’s government relations group, most recently was chief deputy with the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office.

Brandon Cate has joined Quattlebaum Grooms & Tull PLLC as a managing member at the firm’s Springdale office. Grant Cox, Michael Heister, Joseph Price II and Everett Tucker IV have been named members at the Little Rock office. Cate’s practice focuses on business litigation, ERISA benefits litigation, eminent domain litigation, products liability litigation and appeals. Cox concentrates his practice on real estate corporate transactions and oil and gas transactions. Heister focuses on complex civil litigation and appeals, Price on civil litigation and Tucker on litigation.

Media/Marketing

Neal Moore has joined First Class Communication in Little Rock as a partner and creative director. Moore has previous creative director and public relations professional experience with Neal Moore Creative and The Communications Group.

Nonprofits

Danell Hetrick has been promoted to director of grant writing and communications with the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce. Hetrick previously was communication coordinator.

Real Estate

Drew Holbert has been named a principal with Colliers International Arkansas at Little Rock. He has been with Colliers since 2005 and previously served as vice president of brokerage operations.
