Maxus Realty Trust Inc., a real estate investment trust headquartered in North Kansas City, Missouri, acquired the 178-unit, 175,000-SF The Wellington at Chenal apartment community in Little Rock on June 27.
The Wellington was built in 1997, and its addition to MRTI’ portfolio means the REIT now controls approximately 1,300 apartment units in the Little Rock metropolitan area.
MRIT has ownership interests in 35 multifamily properties consisting of 9,264 apartment homes and in 263,000 SF of commercial space. Its properties are in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Texas.
