Missy Penor
Missy Penor has departed as director of communications for Visit Bentonville after a little more than a year there.
Email replies from her work address last week sent people to Rachel Sizemore, the tourism agency’s special events director. Sizemore confirmed Penor’s exit, but declined to answer further questions.
Penor is a former publisher of AY Magazine and Arkansas Money & Politics and was director of marketing and development for The Daily Record in Little Rock for seven months in 2014.
For a decade in the early 2000s, she oversaw niche publications in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
