Murphy Oil USA Picks Up Sears Auto Property on Chenal

The featured quartet of million-dollar transactions comprises a 1.33-acre site for a convenience store in west Little Rock, undeveloped apartment land in North Little Rock, a 240-unit mini-storage project in west Pulaski County and a 6,642-SF home in west Little Rock.

• Murphy Oil USA Inc. of El Dorado purchased the former Sears Auto location at 12600 Chenal Parkway for a whopping $2.9 million.

Starmax Properties Ltd., led by Barksdale McKay.

• An affiliate of Maxus Realty Trust Inc. of North Kansas City, Missouri, bought 64.5 acres adjoining the Foothills Apartments at 2401 Lakeview Road for $2 million.

Seller: North Little Rock’s Woodcrest Co. LLP, led by the James P. Matthews family.

You might recall that last year Maxus affiliates acquired the 540-unit complex for $42.6 million.

• Ferndale Storage LLC, led by Byron House and Andy Bowie, sold its namesake project at 27000 Kanis Road for $1.4 million.

Buyer? Tisdale Properties & Development LLC, led by Tracy and Terre Tisdale.

• James Works Jr. and his wife, Julia, sold their home in Chenal Valley for $1 million to Anthony and Audra Thomas.
