Mercy Clinic OB/GYN
Dr. Lisa Skinner Newton and Dr. Brock Dupree Wilson have joined Mercy Clinic OB/GYN in Fort Smith.
Newton has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
Wilson has a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa.
Dr. Restituto S. Ruiz Jr. joined Mercy in July as an emergency physician at hospitals in Booneville, Ozark, Paris, Waldron and Fort Smith.
Ruiz received a medical degree from Manila Central University’s College of Medicine in the Philippines. Board-certified in internal medicine, he completed internal medicine residencies at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York.
Dr. Aaron Weston Bull has joined Mercy Hospital Fort Smith’s emergency department.
An Army veteran, Bull is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and completed an emergency medicine residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Surbhi Chamaria has joined Mercy Clinic Cardiology in Fort Smith as an interventional cardiologist.
Board-certified in internal medicine with an emphasis on cardiovascular disease, Chamaria is a graduate of Kasturba Medical College in India and received subsequent training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Louisiana State University’s Health Science Center in Shreveport and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Stephanie L. Koonce, a board-certified surgeon, has joined Mercy Clinic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Fort Smith, her hometown. Koonce earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a master’s in public health and a medical degree from the University of Minnesota. She completed a plastic surgery residency and a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida.
Dr. Melissa Michelle Kuehl has joined Mercy Hospital Fort Smith as a hospitalist. Kuehl received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Lyon College in Batesville and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University in Missouri. She completed an internal medicine residency at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri.
