Noelle Nikpour — we know our Whispers readers remember her — is running for Congress in Florida.
The Republican strategist and Fox News political commentator who used to call Little Rock home is seeking the seat of Patrick Murphy, a Democrat running for the U.S. Senate.
“I am not a politician,” Nikpour said in a statement. “If you want to fix Washington you cannot keep sending politicians to DC. It’s time to fix Washington by bringing back common sense conservatism.”
It’s a crowded field. Nikpour is one of 12 candidates — eight of them Republicans — to enter the race, according to FloridaPolitics.com.
Her Twitter account (@NoelleNikpour) describes her as a “Sun Sentinel columnist, GOP/Republican strategist, entertainment commentator, author of Branding America.”
The Sun Sentinel newspaper covers Broward County — county seat, Fort Lauderdale — but also circulates in Miami and Palm Beach.
