Arkansas Business is once again seeking nominations of the state’s most outstanding businesses, business executives and nonprofit organizations for its Arkansas Business of the Year Awards.
The deadline to nominate is Oct. 26. Nominations can be made at ArkansasBusiness.com/ABOY.
“This program provides Arkansas Business with the opportunity to honor outstanding businesses, organizations and executives from across the state,” Mitch Bettis, Arkansas Business publisher, said. “We also get to introduce our readers to the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of the top companies and individuals that make up the Arkansas business community.”
This year’s event will feature a new honor: the Lifetime of Leadership Award. The award will recognize an executive of an Arkansas-based company whose leadership during his or her lifetime has resulted in the company being distinguished among its peers, noted as an industry leader and having a positive impact on the community and state.
Other awards will be given in the following categories:
- Category I (1-30 employees)
- Category II (31-55 employees)
- Category III (56-150 employees)
- Category IV (151-499 employees)
- Nonprofit Organization
- Nonprofit Executive of the Year
- Business Executive of the Year
The event will also honor winners of the Arkansas Community Foundation’s Smart Corporate Giving Awards.
Winners and finalists will be featured in future edition of Arkansas Business, as well as be honored at the Arkansas Business of the Year Awards on Wednesday, March 6, at Little Rock Marriott.
