North Arkansas Regional Medical Center Names New Critical Care Manager (Movers & Shakers)

DeLana Dawn Shoemake, a registered nurse, has been promoted to critical care manager at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, where she is responsible for nursing services and patient care for all patients in the critical care, step down and pediatric units.

Shoemake has worked her way up from medical/surgical nurse to charge nurse, house supervisor and nurse manager.


Rachel Khan has been promoted to director of operations by CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock. Khan joined CHI St. Vincent in August 2013 as an administrative fellow. Since August 2014, she has served as manager of strategy and governance and has served as a key leader in the development of the Arkansas Health Network.


Aimee Arzoumanian has been named assistant chief executive officer by Sparks Health System of Fort Smith and will oversee operations of Sparks Medical Center-Van Buren and certain departments at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. Arzoumanian joined Sparks in 2009 as a hospitalist physician assistant and became an assistant administrator in 2013.
