North Little Rock CVB Rebrands as North Little Rock Tourism

1 min read

The North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau on Wednesday announced it has rebranded as North Little Rock Tourism.

The organization said it’s following a nationwide trend of convention and visitors bureaus shifting from “CVB” to more visitor-friendly terminology.

The organization will begin doing business as North Little Rock Tourism effective immediately and has begun rolling out the new name in marketing. Its function as the marketing arm of the North Little Rock Advertising & Promotion Commission remains the same.

“There are multiple benefits of condensing our organizational name,” Stephanie Slagle, director of marketing for North Little Rock Tourism, said in a news release. “Online search is increasingly more important for travel and tourism; we want to make it as easy as possible for potential visitors to find us online.

“Most importantly, we clearly and quickly communicate our purpose: driving tourism to North Little Rock.”

The name change follows a full rebrand in 2020 that introduced new colors, font and logo design featuring an “NLR” smiley face and the tagline “Up to something.” The new logo retains all the design elements.
