On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina will open in Jonesboro on Nov. 16, marking its fifth Arkansas location.
The restaurant will support 130 jobs.
“I couldn’t be more excited about this. This is my hometown – these are my friends and neighbors – and I’m so happy to be bringing OTB to this great community,” Kevin Childs, general manager of On The Border, said in a news release. “I have no doubt that the people of Jonesboro and surrounding areas are going to love it.”
Located at 2324 Red Wolf Blvd., about a mile from Turtle Creek Mall and across the street from Starbucks, the 6,000-SF restaurant features dining and bar space that can seat more than 200, and a large patio that seats 64 guests.
“This is our fifth restaurant to open in the state, and the people of Arkansas have always been very good to us,” said Ward Whitworth, president of On The Border. “Quite simply, we want to be Craighead County’s favorite Mexican restaurant – and we have the right recipes and the right people to do just that.”
On The Border in Jonesboro will be open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
