Activity in downtown Rogers is picking up by the looks of two very recent sales.
The Harris Baking Co. building at 114 W. Elm St. was bought Jan. 30 by Red Brick Capital LLC, which was represented by Morgan Hooker of RH Hill Properties of Fayetteville. Randy Crossno, principal broker at Capstone Commercial Advisors of Rogers, represented the seller, BancorpSouth Bank of Rogers.
The OREO property, of approximately 9,700 SF, was listed at $220,000 but sold for slightly less than that.
A vacant 12,000-SF office building at 121 W. Walnut St. changed hands in the last two weeks.
The building, owned by Paul and Janet Parks of Rogers, sold for $550,000 to a regional investor, Affordable Homes of Arkansas.
