PAMT Corp., the parent company of PAM Transport Inc. of Tontitown (Nasdaq: PAMT), reported Friday a second-quarter loss of $9.1 million, wider than the loss of $2.9 million in the same quarter a year ago.
Per share, the loss came to 46 cents.
The trucking company reported revenue of $151.1 million, down 17.4% from $182.9 million.
For the first six months of 2025, losses totaled $17.7 million, wider than the loss of $2.6 million in the same period in 2024. Revenue totaled $306.5 million, down 16.14% from $365.5 million.
PAM reported an income loss of $31.8 million for the full year 2024.
The company’s truckload division, which is heavily involved in the automobile industry, reported a total of 98,814 loads in the second quarter, down 10.6% from 110,511 the previous year. Revenue per truck per week was $3,485, down 2.32% from $3,572.
PAM’s logistical division reported revenue of $40.9 million, down 23.82% from $53.7 million.
Former PAM CEO Joe Vitiritto resigned in June of this year after nearly five years with the company and was replaced by interim CEO Matthew Moroun, the company’s majority owner and chairman of the board.
