Former district director at Staffmark, Paul Pickens joins the St. Bernards Health & Wellness Institute in Jonesboro as director of the 55,000-SF facility.
Background: A native of Blytheville, Paul Pickens graduated in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He was a board member of the ASU College of Business Spring Swing event and served on the Governor’s Partnership board of directors. In 2005, Pickens was named Northeast Arkansas Young Executive of the Year.
Experience: Pickens has more than 18 years of experience in the staffing industry overseeing multiple offices. Before joining St. Bernards, he was the district director of Staffmark’s MidSouth Business Unit, where he managed a nine-branch region for the last 13 years. Pickens is a member of the St. Bernards Advocates, and is active in the Jonesboro Region Chamber of Commerce and the Northeast Arkansas Society for Human Resource Management Association.
New Position: As director of the St. Bernards Health & Wellness Institute, Pickens will be responsible for supervising a large staff of fitness professionals and the overall operation of the 55,000-SF facility, which houses a fitness center, rehabilitation services and clinical departments.
